Ascend Appraisers Founders' Retreat in Miami at The Confidante

Imagine being surrounded by like-minded individuals who share the same passion for the industry as you do. That's the feeling I got as I arrived at The Confidante Hotel Miami Beach for the Ascend Appraisers Founders Retreat. Women from all over the country gathered in one place to share their experiences and knowledge and support one another. As a photographer, it was an honor to capture the magic of that day, and I'm excited to share it with you in this blog post.

At the start of the day, the founders of Ascend Appraisers kicked things off with a beautiful morning yoga session on the beach. It was the perfect way to ease into a day filled with business conversations and headshots. I was able to capture some amazing moments of them centering themselves before diving into the busy day ahead.

Next, we headed to the pool cabanas, where they were able to unwind and relax in preparation for the afternoon’s discussions. The energy was contagious, and the laughter was infectious. It was clear that these women had formed a bond, one that went beyond their shared profession.

In the afternoon, the women gathered to discuss how they can be supported in the field and some of the setbacks they've dealt with because they are women. It was a powerful conversation that touched on some of the challenges women face in the industry. The women shared stories of sexism, discrimination, and inequality. But despite the obstacles, they remained resilient and determined to make a difference.

When the discussion ended, it was time for the individual headshots. This was a moment for the women to showcase their professionalism and individuality. As a photographer, it was my job to capture their personalities through the lens. Each woman brought their unique energy to the photoshoot, and working with such a talented group was an honor.

The Ascend Appraisers Founders Retreat was a powerful day filled with inspiration and positivity. These women came together from all over the country to support one another and share their experiences. As a photographer, I was able to capture the essence of the day through my lens.
